Dendrobium Chocolate Chip is an exquisite hybrid between the legendary Micro Chip and normanbyense. It’s a unique miniature orchid with sprays of delicate speckled white flowers. The front of the flowers are detailed with purple lining, while the back of each flower is as close to a chocolate chip cookie as an orchid could ever be! Chocolate Chip is perfect for the entry level collector who doesn’t have a bunch of space for their collection, but wants something extraordinary and impressive. This compact Latouria type Dendrobium comes in a 3″ pot with the perfect potting media to keep your new friend happy and healthy. Live Dendrobium orchid plant is flowering! Care is very easy – this plant will reward you several times a year with lightly cinnamon-fragrant blooms! Chocolate Chip spikes abundantly, often from the same growth. This one will continue to put out new spikes and flower for up to 4 more months.
This stunning miniature with morning-time fragrance prefers the brightest possible indirect light, regular fertilization (“weakly, weekly”), and occasional misting. Choose an eastern exposure (or south/west with a dappled curtain) for the most vigorous growth! Foliage is evergreen, mystical little flowers shoot out from all sides of the plant. Pseudobulbs are almost Seussian with their quirky top-heavy shape!
Dendrobium Chocolate Chip is highly original! This is the first bloom for these young and healthy plants.
