Our huge Dendrobium Edfrans Gem ‘Green Flash’ have elegant white flowers with gentle green accents that make for an interesting collectible plant. ‘Green Flash’ is a straightforward “Phalaenopsis type” Dendrobium – rookies and experts alike enjoy this houseplant staple. This full size plant comes in a 4″ pot with the perfect potting media to keep your new friend happy and healthy. Plant is not currently flowering. Care is as easy as it gets!
‘Green Flash’, is a peculiar hybrid which, unlike others of the same variety, has robust jewel-like dimensions. This Dendrobium orchid is a “Den-Phal”, thus named because of its flower’s resemblance to the classic Moth Orchid. This sprightly variety prefers the brightest possible indirect light, regular fertilization (“weakly, weekly”), and occasional misting. Choose a southern or western exposure for the most vigorous growth! Foliage is evergreen, flowers spike from the cane three times a year with proper care.

Temperatures this time of year are chilly! This orchid breed is native to tropical climates and does best around 65 to 80 degrees. Winterized shipping is included with all our plants whenever required. We delicately wrap our live plants in layers of insulating foam and include a 72+ hour heat pack when temperatures are low. However, we make no guarantees that our tropical plants will survive extreme freezing temperatures. It’s the duty of the buyer to open packages immediately upon arrival.
