Live Paphiopedilum orchid plant is currently budding to blooming!
Paphiopedilum are truly unique orchids with extraordinary looking flowers. Paph. Avalon Mist ‘Midor’ x Pinocchio tipo ‘CH #1’ is a smaller Paphiopedilum orchid plant with rare colored blooms that range from pink to yellow, both with hints of green. Both pink and yellow color forms can be exhibited by this hybrid. This Lady Slipper orchid is a sequential bloomer! Foliage will eventually fan out in a bush-like fashion – so this exotic orchid will be beautiful year round, unlike other orchid genera. Pahiopedilum thrive in the same conditions Phalaenopsis prefer, making this an easy to care for, excellent beginner’s collectible plant.

We’re VERY careful when wrapping plants – which is why we have such a high success rate! Orchids are native to tropical climates, and generally do best around 65 to 80 degrees. Weatherized shipping is included with all our plants whenever required. We delicately wrap our live plants in layers of sheet foam and include a 72+ hour heat pack when temperatures are low. However, we make no guarantees that our tropical plants will survive extreme temperatures. It’s the duty of the buyer to open packages immediately upon arrival. Our commitment to excellence means we ship exclusively express methods, as all live plants should be – usually USPS Priority 1-4 day or UPS 1-5 day. Consider having your order Held for Pickup, or delayed during extreme weather – just send us a note with your order.
